Snow Day!

Well...it finally feels like winter and it's February! I was beginning to wonder if winter was EVER really going to get here. I was excited to hear that it was going to snow today because I've been dying to take Avery sledding. We have just enough of a hill in our backyard to make it fun. We waited ALL day (as it just flurried) and finally just as Daddy got home from work there was enough snow to head outside! Avery had soooo much fun! (I must admit Mommy and Daddy had just as much fun flying down the hill!) Testing out the snow

Love this pic!!!

Eating the snow...we made sure it wasn't yellow! Ha! We plan to make snow ice cream later tonight!

Connor's Birthday Party

We went to Connor's birthday party a week ago and had so much fun! It was a baseball theme and was sooo cute! Avery had a blast playing with all of the kids! Happy 2nd Birthday Connor, we love you!this is the best picture I could get of the two of them

Avery was right in the middle helping the birthday boy open all of his presents!

Miss Brooklyn (not wanting to say cheese for me I guess, Ha!) She has a new baby sister Briley who I meant to get a picture of but forgot to. Briley is the cutest and has the chubbiest cheeks!

Baby in a Basket

......a shopping basket that is, with a lei on!!!

ELMO!!!

We took Avery to see "Elmo Makes Music" at The Peabody (which is gorgeous by the way) and to say she loved it is an understatement! She had SO much fun dancing and pointing out all of the characters. Johnny and I had just as much fun watching her face light up and clap along to the music! She got so excited each time they would sing! They had a play area set up before the show started and some of the characters made an appearance to sing songs. Avery got to see them up close. She didn't know what to make of it all, but she had a BALL! We all had a great time and look forward to doing things like this with her again!

She kept saying "Avery's seat" and didn't want us touching HER seat. Someone's getting to be such a big girl!

Playing Dress Up

So Miss Avery loves to play in my closet while I'm getting ready for work (or anytime for that matter.) She drags out every single belt, scarf, hat, pair of shoes etc. I own. Lately she's been putting them on, sometimes 3 or 4 at a time. This is what she came out in last week. A girl MUST be accessorized...

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving started off with brunch at my inlaws' house. We enjoyed the morning spending time with family and eating yummy food. We then headed to my parents' house for lunch/early dinner. We ate, relaxed and were entertained by Miss Avery of course. We spent the evening at Johnny's Grandma and Grandpa's house. We ate some more and Avery got to play with not one, not two, but THREE doggies! We missed seeing Johnny's cousin Lauren and her new fiance Kevin. They got engaged the night before, CONGRATS Lauren and Kevin!!! Thanksgiving was a long but fun day and we have so much to be thankful for! I didn't take as many pics as I would've liked, but here are a few from the day.

Happy Halloween!

We had a fun Halloween with our family! We had lots of yummy food, a fire pit and of course tons of candy! Our plan was to take Miss Avery to a few of our neighbors' houses to trick or treat. Well, she wanted nothing to do with it! We made it to three houses and she was done. She was more interested in petting their doggies than getting candy. She did enjoy handing out candy to the other kids though! Maybe next year she'll understand the concept of FREE candy!

Our little ladybug and her cheesy grin!

Posing for the camera!

She absolutely LOVES lollipops!!!

I think she had three in a row!

Oh well, it was Halloween!

The awesome Elmo pumpkin that Daddy carved for her!

It definitely got lots of compliments from trick or treaters!

Cute family pic!
