4 Months Old!!!

I am 4 months old today! I weigh13.3lbs and am 25.25 inches long. I am in the 85th percentile for height so I am a tall girl! What am I up to? I am rolling over from my tummy to my back and vice versa. I can hold my head up really good now and can sit in my bumbo seat without any help. I LOVE to "stand" when you are holding me. I have strong legs and love to kick when I get excited! My doctor said she thinks I may be a month early in doing some things because I'm so strong and active already! This made my grandpa happy 'cause he said the same thing! He may be a little biased though! I have found my toes and enjoy trying to eat them. Speaking of eating, I get to start eating rice cereal at night now. Mommy's given it to me a couple of times and I'm not so sure about it, but maybe I'll like oatmeal better. I was sleeping through the night but I had a cold a few weeks ago and got out of my regular sleeping routine. Mommy and Daddy are trying to get me back into my routine, I cooperated with them last night and they're hoping I continue. :) I am a smiley baby and I love to show off my dimples!!!

Johnny thought it would be funny to stand her up and lean her against the chair (of course we were in arms reach of her!) Could this picture be any cuter! She looks so big!

Look at those chubby thighs...I LOVE them! That's a tweety bird band aid on her thigh from her shots today, which by the way she was such a big girl and only cried for a split second.

3 Little Monkeys

Last week was my friend Marcia's birthday. We celebrated by going over to her house and playing with our kiddos. (WOW, how life has changed...) Me and Miss Avery, Marcia and Connor, Angie and Brooklyn, and Darrah and Amanda were all there. We ate pizza, drank sangria and had a great time! Connor just started crawling and Brooklyn is standing up and taking a few steps with assistance! They are all at different stages so it's neat to see! Avery seems so little compared to the other two, but give her a few months and she'll catch up to the big kids! I didn't get many pictures cause the kids were all over the place!

This was the best pic I could get of the 3 of them. We were all trying to get them to look at us and smile and they were looking at us like we were crazy, it was so funny! (yes, Brooklyn has on a bow to match her PJ's!)

Three Months Old!

I am 3 months old today!!! Mommy took some of her own measurements today 'cause I don't go back to the doctor til I'm 4 months old and she says I weigh around 12.5 lbs and am 25 in. long. Ever since I hit the 12 week mark I am doing all kinds of things! I have found my feet and am always grabbing them. My hands fascinate me! I can roll over from my stomach to my back and just in the past few days am trying to roll from my back to my stomach! I can hold my head up very well as long as you are there to catch me just in case! I smile at everyone and squeal and laugh! I love to play on the floor and can grab rattles from you. Every morning I greet mommy and daddy with the biggest grin when they tell me "good morning!" I LOVE bath time! I like car rides (I often fall asleep), being outside, music and looking at myself in the mirror. I love to eat and am starting to be on a regular nap schedule. I still don't sleep through the night, but maybe soon! I am a happy baby!

Flower Power!

She kept trying to put the flower in her mouth. She would make the funniest face when she got the petals in her mouth, I couldn't get a picture of it but it was hilarious!

Our Saturday

This past Saturday we celebrated my Mom's birthday. We went to Allen and Sally's house ate BBQ and had a great time! Avery of course was the center of attention! Later that night Johnny and I went to a trivia night with our friends. It was the first time we left Avery for a night out and we had a so much fun! (although we did miss our baby girl!)

Heads Up!

Avery's neck muscles are getting stronger and stronger everyday. Here are a few pics of her holding her head up really well during tummy time. She's getting to be such a big girl!...(at 12 weeks old-Ha!)
