Splish Splash! I was....

...taking a bath and mommy said she just had to take a picture of me. She and daddy thought that I looked so cute they had to put it on the blog right away. I love my baths (if you couldn't tell) and mommy and daddy said they are going to get me some new bath toys to make bath time even more fun.

8 Months Old!

I am 8 months old! What am I up to? ALOT! First off, I am mobile! I started crawling two weeks ago and now I am everywhere! I weigh over 17 lbs. and am roughly 27 inches tall. I can pull myself up on to everything such as the coffee table, the TV stand, shelving...you know all the dangerous stuff! Mommy and Daddy are baby proofing everything! I love to greet Mommy and Daddy in the morning by standing up in my crib and hanging on to the rails (or peeking through them, I think this game is so fun!) I have four teeth and two more are getting ready to break through. I am eating all kinds of foods. New things I have tried recently are broccoli, mac and cheese, bread, crackers and pasta. I am so interested in what Mommy and Daddy are eating. Even if I have just eaten I think I need some of theirs too! I could care less about my toys right now I'd rather take things (everything) out of any kind of basket or drawer. I get mad and will let you know if you take something away from me that I'm not supposed to have. I LOVE Mommy's cell phone and the (Daddy's)remote control! I love to play peek a boo. I have such a cute personality, I laugh all the time and will give you a look with my big eyes and long lashes...you'll melt! I am becoming quite vocal too. I can say "Mama" and "Dada" and do lots of babbling. I have even started giving you a devilish grin when I am about to do something you told me "no no" to. Stay tuned to see what I am up to next month when I am a big 9 month old!

Breakfast Date

This morning Avery and I met up with my good friend Jen and her little boy Jake for a breakfast date. I couldn't get a good picture with both of the kids looking at me, so this is the best that I got. The little ones ate while us mommy's got to catch up.

So the other day I was putting away clothes in Avery's room and she was playing on the floor. She loves to get out this basket that holds some of her shoes. I quickly grabbed my camera because I thought it was so cute...her sitting there trying to decide what shoes she wanted to wear! :)

Last Saturday was my brother's birthday! We wish you a Happy Birthday little bro! We love you very much! Sorry this is late! Also, congrats on your new job we are proud of you!

Connor's 1st Birthday!

Two weekend's ago we went to Connor's (aka Avery's boyfriend's) 1st birthday party! Connor has lots of cousins and Avery had fun playing or trying to play with the big kids. The party was lots of fun and the birthday boy couldn't be any cuter! Happy Birthday Connor! We love you little man!

7 Months Old!!!

I am 7 months old today! I weigh a little over 16lbs. and am 27 inches long. (Mommy's estimates) What am I up to? I have had a rough couple of weeks...I had a double ear infection, a bout with the stomach flu and I am teething like crazy! Mommy and Daddy have had a rough couple of weeks as well! Thankfully I am feeling better! I have two more teeth coming in, my top two, so I am a drooling, chewing on everything little girl right now! I am eating more and more solid foods all the time! Some of my new favorites are mashed potatoes, yogurt and real bananas (as opposed to baby food bananas.) I am also liking my puffs and cheerios! I am getting pretty good with putting them in mouth by myself! I am all over the place. Mommy can't get over that I'm not crawling yet but I somehow manage to get from one side of the room to the other! I roll over and over. I can also sit up from being on my belly. I am even trying to pull myself up to stand. Mommy jokes that I'm gonna skip crawling all together! I am almost there though...I can go backwards, but I just haven't gotten the forward thing yet. I am definitely more vocal lately. I will cry sometimes if you take something away from me, I will let you know when I want the attention on me (which is always), and I will squeal at you if you are not feeding me fast enough or if I see my bottle. I am quite demanding! :) I will hold my arms out to you now if I want you to hold me. (Mommy loves this) I am a happy baby and Mommy and Daddy say I get cuter every day!
