Happy Mother's Day! and Happy Birthday Johnny!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms, grandmas, aunts and mommy friends that we have in our life! We love you! It's also Johnny's birthday today, so I had to share my first Mother's Day with him...but I don't mind! :) It was a beautiful day today and we had great time spending the day with our families! I am so grateful that I get to be a Mommy to my sweet Avery!

11 Months Old!

I can't believe Miss Avery will be 1 year old in a month! That's crazy! So what is she up to? She is going to be walking ANY day now. She can stand up on her own and walks along all of the furniture. She is so funny! She makes funny faces and crinkles her nose up when she squeals, it's hysterical! She has a new found love for bubbles! She got some for Easter and loves them! She also has a bath toy that plays music and blows out bubbles and she cries and gets mad when we take her out of the tub cause she loves this toy so much. She eats pretty much anything now. She's had her first popsicle and couldn't get enough of it! She's gotten really good at drinking out of her sippy cup. She dances when she hears music and waves (backwards) to EVERYONE. She has become a great sleeper and napper! Thank you Jesus! She usually takes a 2 1/2 hour nap everyday. She always wakes up in the best mood. We love going to get her in the morning because she's usually just standing there waiting to greet us with a big grin! She has such a good temperament and is usually happy all the time. I must say she is deathly afraid of the vacuum cleaner. A few months ago she could be playing on the floor and we could vacuum right next to her and she wouldn't even blink. Now, as soon as we turn it on she is making a mad dash for Mommy or Daddy...screaming along the way! I don't know where this fear came from. I'm sure it's just a phase and she'll grow out of it soon. Otherwise we're going to have a very dirty carpet! :) We are looking forward to her 1st Birthday Bash coming up! (sort of...she is growing up way too fast!)

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We started our day by going to church then spending the rest of the day with family. It was a long day but we had lots of fun!

The Easter bunny left some goodies for Avery. She got some bubbles, bath toys, a beach towel and a stuffed bunny!

Silly Girl

We bought Avery a big bag of plastic Easter eggs and she loves playing with them! We find them everywhere...under the couch, under the ottoman, behind the tv etc. I'm beginning to think she's hiding them so WE will hunt for them! :)

She is constantly biting on them and making this face, she looks like a clown it's hilarious!

10 Months Old!!!

Avery you are 10 months old! We don't have any official stats because we don't go back to the Dr. until your 1st birthday, but you are growing like a weed! You are getting more and more hair! Yeah! We've graduated from the big bows to the small ones becasue I can finally clip them in your hair. (although the big ones are still my favorite) You are becoming so independent! You always want down on the floor to play and crawl everywhere and get into everything! You "walk" really well with us holding your hands. I'm still saying you will be walking before your birthday! As far as food goes, all I can say is BLUBERRIES! They are your new favorite and you can't get enough of them! We are lucky that you like all types of fruits and veggies. You are sleeping great and taking good naps. You love going to the sitter's and playing with the "big kids." We are having so much fun with you and you are cuter by the day!
