9 Months Old!

We are a few days late with this post but since there's not a "30th" day in February we decided to post it after her 9 month check up. Miss Avery was a wild woman in the doctor's office today! Not in a bad way, but she definitely was FULL of energy! She was jabbering up a storm and crawling all over the table. She was pulling on the doctor's stethoscope, kissing the mirror (there was drool running down it!) and would not sit still for anything! The doctor didn't mind she said she'd rather her act like this than be crying. When the doctor was leaving Avery was waving "bye bye" to her. It was so cute! The doctor said she is Miss Social. On to her stats, she weighs 19 lbs. and is 27.5 inches tall. She is in the 45th percentile for both. She has 6 teeth, four on top and two on the bottom. I think she may be cutting another one because she has a runny nose and is drooling like crazy! She says "Mama" and "Dada" all the time! She babbles ALL the time and is making all kinds of new sounds. She crawls EVERYWHERE! Our house is now baby proofed! She can pull herself up on anything and even stood for a couple seconds on her own the other day. I happen to think she'll be walking before her 1st birthday! :) Avery eats pretty much all table food now. She still eats some baby food, but mostly whatever we are eating. She loves everything! Everything except peas that is. She still hates them. Yogurt, asparagus, green beans, turkey and goldfish are a few of her new faves! She is very active and all over the place! She loves exploring! She is fascinated by magazines, she will sit there and just turn the pages and stare at them...and maybe tear a few out! The doctor asked about any stranger anxiety, yeah right! Not yet, at least! She loves for people to talk to her, she may take a few minutes to warm up to them and try to figure them out, but then she'll flash that big toothy grin of hers! She also loves little kids! We will be out in a store or somewhere and if she hears a baby crying or a little kid talking she'll be looking around everywhere to see them. When she does see them she'll just stare at them. She is so interested in little kids, I guess cause they're more her size! Ha! She has the cutest laugh that we can't get enough of! She has become very cuddly lately and her daddy and I LOVE it! She is the sweetest thing and we couldn't love her more! I can't believe we have a 9 month old! Time...can you please slow down!!!

So this is the only picture I could get of her in her chair with her puppy! (at least the only one where she was looking) I could not stop laughing when I saw it! This is a perfect example of her mood today...WILD and wound up!
