A few weeks ago our family drove to Destin, Florida to spend a week at the beach! On our way to Destin we stopped in Memphis to visit Graceland. It was pouring down rain the whole time, but we still had fun! Johnny and his family had been before, but it was a first for Miss Avery and I. I actually enjoyed it and would like to go back because I felt like we rushed through since it was raining. We toured the mansion and ate at one of the restaurants. Avery even had a peanut butter and banana sandwich! Yum!
Next stop...Graceland!
the mansionIt's surprising to see what was considered to be a mansion back then. I guess I was expecting it to be a mansion by today's standards and it was more like a normal two story house.
